STEP 1. Create your connection

  1. Go to https://app.notion.com/developers/connections
  2. Click + New Integration button
  3. Fill in the form
    1. Define the name of the integration, for instance, F2N integration
    2. keep Authentication method as Access token,
    3. Choose associated workspace in Installable in section*,*
    4. and click Create Connection
  4. Copy the Access token and paste it back in the Files to Notion App

STEP 2. Link integration with your workspace

  1. Open your Notion workspace

  2. If you…

    1. … HAVEN’T synchronized your files before:
      1. Create a new Notion Page, where your local files will be added
    2. … HAVE ALREADY synchronized your files before:
      1. Simply open your existing Notion Page
      2. the page URL looks like this: https://notion.so/{your_notion_page_id} , where your_notion_page_id refers to your Notion Page ID.
      3. Notion Page ID can be found in Files to Notion app, see Settigns > Notion Integration > Your Notion Page Id )

  3. Enable Integration for out new / existing Notion Page (Open the page’s Settings → Connections, and choose the integration created in STEP 1.3)

  4. Copy “Page ID” and paste it to the Files to Notion app

STEP 3. Link integration with “Files To Notion”

  1. Open Files to Notion app settings
  2. Define both:
